When a Buddhist meditates, they feel they are connected with the spirit world. They may even say they see spirits. Is this real? Of course it is, but only to them. The part of the brain that controls visuals becomes highly active during this meditation.
When a believer in god prays, they believe they are talking to someone. The language part of the brain becomes more active. When an atheists does either of those, nothing happens. Why? Because it is all subjective. The supernatural IS real, but only in our minds.
