May 1, 2013   //   by SueBennett   //   Blog  //  No Comments

I know the question is pretty broad, but i would like to travel to India, China or maybe Thailand, to spend a summer living with monks and learn about meditation and/or Buddhism.. i dont expect to be taught or learn anything or everything, i just want it to be an experience and then continue or pursue it myself.

I would love to be able to contact somewhere that could offer me accommodation and i live in this environment for a few months, if anybody has any information on this that slightly relates i would appreciate it!

Open Question: Becoming interested in Chinese Culture?

Apr 21, 2013   //   by SueBennett   //   Blog  //  No Comments

I’m becoming very interested in the thought of Chinese Culture. I’m interested in the whole buddah for good luck idea. The whole meditation idea, and everything. I love cherry blossoms, which remind me of China. I just have been dealing with a lot of negitive energy the past little while and I’ve been wanting more positive energy and the Chinese culture seems very calming and relaxing. If somebody could give me some tips, or any websites on where I can get ideas, order some buddhas, anything, please let me know. Only serious answers please, this is a serious topic for me.

Apr 11, 2013   //   by SueBennett   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Hi I was wondering if I was to go to China from UK how much would a visa cost to stay in China and how long can you be there? Can you buy a Visa for few years or is it few weeks or months. Also if I had a lot of money to support myself could I stay in China on my own(not in big cities). Im asking this question because I wanted to go to China and maybe live there for few years and deepen my understanding of MA and meditation. Please if you have any hate towards me please don’t comment and keep it to yourself.

Open Question: My boyfriend confessed to me that he made out with someone else and I really dont know what to do?

Mar 25, 2013   //   by SueBennett   //   Blog  //  No Comments

My boyfriend and I have been together exactly for a year. We have been doing great and both are looking forward to a long-term relationship which can happily ends up in marriage. We met last year March and I had to leave America back to China last year August. Since then, we almost stream everyday and try our best to maintain this relationship.

However, this morning he confessed to me that he got drunk last night and made out with a girl in his room. He then told her that he has a girlfriend and asked her to leave. So nothing physical happened while they kissed and groped. He felt terrible about it and told me this morning.

A little more background, my boyfriend had a terrible childhood and had bipolar meditation in primary school. Although I am not an expert in this field, I don’t think he is bipolar any longer because he behaved quite normally during the year except for being a little too emotionally. Based on the fact that he managed to get in college and had normal relationship with me and his ex-girlfriend, I don’t think he suffers from bipolar disorder anymore.

Anyway, he confessed to me and promised that he would never do it again and said he would go back to bipolar meditation again. Honestly, I believe he is trying to justify his mistake. He cannot blame it to the alcohol, the girl or the bipolar.

However, we have been doing very great and we do look forward to a great future of being together. Should I give him another chance or just dump him right now?

Open Question: Am I the only person have a uncertain belief?

Mar 12, 2013   //   by SueBennett   //   Blog  //  No Comments

It is like you want to believe in something but you know that something isn’t real or exist because you expose the truth. Yet, you still believe it. Confusing?

I try to clarify.

Throughout my life I believe in a G-D. Despite personal, situational experiences and historical facts were against and disillusion the belief of a God, I hang on to the belief .

True, religion made some bad contributions but also good contributions to world history and culture. Christianity helped ended segregation, exposed the tragedy from Nanking,China, stopped the slaughtering of native people. Religion can make a person has serenity and aspiration in their lives. A person needs a purpose in their lives. Also, meditation and pray relax and alleviate the mind. Health articles report on this medial report.

I know some of the user’s answer will give a rational answer but no one haven’t find a theoretical answer of why there is life on earth, black holes, and everything before the Big Bang theory. I am not excepting an anthropomorphic or celestial being if our knowledge increase as humans discover the truth of the universe.

However, I believe in a God because I want to believe. Then again, this belief I have is just “blind faith”.

Open Question: Should the US pressure China not to harvest organs of its political prisoners?

Dec 13, 2012   //   by SueBennett   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Falun Gong is a spiritual discipline that combines the practice of meditation and slow moving exercises with a moral philosophy. In 1999 the Communist leadership determined Falun Gong to be threatening to their totalitarian regime, mostly due to the size of Falun Gong members and their independent nature from the state.

After the 1999 crackdown, approximately over 60,000 Falun Gong spiritual practitioners were reported missing. The number of deaths is uncertain as the Chinese government does not report their statistics. Reports from the NYT and several sources have revealed that a disproportionate number of organs in the organ-harvesting black market come from Falun Gong practitioners. These organs are sold to wealthy Chinese and American clients.

President Obama needs 25,000 signature in order to address this issue and bring pressure to China. If you want to raise your voice so that China can put a stop to these evil practice, sign here:
