Open Question: Who is Marcus Aurelius refering to when he talks of the ‘GODS’ in his books ‘meditations’?

Mar 1, 2012   //   by SueBennett   //   Blog  //  No Comments

He writes for example

‘I know I am good, just as the gods know I’m good.
How do I know that the gods are real? Well I have never seen the wind yet know it exists..

Is he talking of a specific GOD or just like a higher power!
