Open Question: Is opening my 3rd eye is opening myself to evil?

I have done meditation before, tried to do astral projection, Martial arts, believe in the regimen of mind conditioning like the ones mentioned in “The secret”. I have become more spiritual & down to earth over the years but still have a few old habits & flaws to correct.(anger but able to control negative thoughts 90% of the time) Not to be confused with religion. I dont believe in religion but I have have God in my heart & have faith in him. Im a very knowledgeable person in almost all topics of everything that exists. In other words im a knowledge seeker. I have opened my eyes to know whats going on today in the world like secret societies & the New World Order. Knowing the existence of Good & evil & open minded of unknown possibilities like extra-terrestrial. Also knowing things like the mind, the Chakras, manipulation of energy like Tai Chi, health, working out, self defense, human behavior, psychology, social networking(physically & cybernetic) etc. Im just a very unique guy from the streets of New York, from the ghetto, so im no ordinary person,loves Hip Hop, writing, making music & poetry, I just embraced knowledge.

What Im trying to say is I have become a well rounded person Mentally,Psychologically,Emotionally & Physically. What does this have to do with the 3rd eye? In my quest of learning the existence of everything, I recently have been doin research & studying about opening your 3rd eye, Usually I can perceive what the truth is & can figure it out thru research but because of the many things I now know,Im confused, I dont know if opening my 3rd eye is evil, I’ve been reading on forums, watching youtube videos, reading articles on the subject.
